Message Thanks for saving me the typing. I was gonna keep my stories off the forum, but since Russell felt it was important enough to email me about, they must be important enough to make public.

My experience:
Drivers side T-Top handle broke, called local dealer to check price of a new one, ~$13. Emailed Ruzzell about a used one, he wanted like $17 (I dont remember the exact amount). Replied informing him that his used price was more then new, he basically said "thats my price, buy from the dealer then".

Friend's exp.:
Needed a new interior piece (plastic around the shifter). Dealer price: $17, Ruzzell's price: $30. Once again he would not budge on the price.

other friend's exp.:
Ordered an NA sub-frame. Inquired about getting the stock bushings pressed out, for some reason Russell wanted an extra $600 to do this. Insane amount considering the subframe is already removed from a car. Friend ended up just buying his own 10 ton press for ~$250 and doing it himself.

Another friends exp.:
Inquired about the price of some used misc. clutch system parts (lines, pedal, bolts, etc), non of the major stuff. Quoted price was quite a bit more then new parts would cost. (I dont know the all the little details on this one).

Yet another friend's:

Sure individually none of these are that big of a deal. When you consider the fact that these are just people that I personally know (not just various internet friends), You start to wonder how many other people have had issues with Z1 like this that havent said anything. Or what about the people that have gotten overcharged for used parts, yet dont have a clue because they expect Z1 to be reasonably priced.

Adam

PS: Please ignore any grammar mistakes, I'm blind.
